Daughters

Fathers be good to your daughters, cause daughters will love like you do, girls become lovers who turn into mothers, so mothers be good to your daughters too - John Mayer

These words could not be any realer. The absence of a father in a woman's life could doom her relationships with men for the majority of it. Women are born with one need at birth, for one man to shape the image of all of the other men she will meet throughout her lifetime and pray that one has the qualities of him; her father. What happens when he isn't there? Who does she have to mold that image? Sure there are other male family members who can play daddy but none of them can amount to the part of her that matters the most, the part that in part made her; her daddy. Fathers!!(shouts out) do you understand what you mean to that little girl? or what your absence will mean when that little girl becomes a woman? You are part of a formula : Mother + Father + Love = Happy, Healthy, Loving Child. Now lets say you subtract the father from the solution...now It goes without saying that half of that love is gone, leaving a void. There is a probability that she will grow up loving halfway, being halfway happy and far from emotionally healthy. However, that's if she has it good. What happens to the little girl who is presented with more than enough situations where "daddy" is the solution. He's absent and so is her sense of judgment and direction because mommy can't tell her everything. There are two directions in which she can go:
1. She cages her emotions in disabling her from experiencing true love and trust.
2. She becomes emotionally unstable and does whatever she can to fill the void daddy left.
(Bonus)*3. This is very rare, she has neither of these problems, just a small longing to figure out her other half.
Either way something is missing. Daddy's i ask you this, why ask for a gift from god and reject heaven on earth when he places it your hands? I'll never understand

Fathers be good to your daughters, cause daughters will love like you do, girls become lovers who turn into mothers, so mothers be good to your daughters too

Makes Sense

What do you do when you feel like the one you love either doesn't care as much as you do or at all?....Do you give up?....do you give them an ultimatum? What happens when you are having the same conversation twice or 3 times or more because your significant other doesn't feel the need to express his or her sentiments on the matter when you ask the first time?.....Instead of telling you how they feel they assume that everything will be ok if you just ignore the problem. Now you're pretty considerate about his/her other problems but how long do you deny yourself the proper answers before the relationship has run its course early because of an easily solvable problem. I don't understand how it can be hard for someone to just open to the one they love about how they feel about them.....What's worth losing you're sense of self security do to your wall or the one you love because they can't find a way around it?.... People say that if someone can't knock down your wall then they aren't the one who is supposed to be able to do it....I say thats bullshit!....The wrong person could knock down a couple barriers with the right word usage or right "act"....would you rather push those bricks aside or have someone who doesnt belong behind that wall getting through by forcible entry? I will never understand the female psyche....you claim you wan't something soooo much and yet you do everything in your power to get rid of it. Why must you care about the thoughts of other males or females if your significant other let's you know everyday how beautiful or how smart you are?....is that not all you need? someone that genuinely loves you telling you not only what you've been wanting to hear your whole life but telling the truth while doing so?..........I'll never understand how you can be able to push something out of your way thats trying to guide you in the right direction and protect you from those who aren't......seek refuge with people who live in a tent when you have an impenetrable fortress. I guess some things aren't meant for people to understand

Brown Skin (you know I love your brown skin)

A melanin rich complected woman is my selection/true ebony essence/ so supple breasted upon which my head rested/ leaving her as a friend i couldve left it/but that wasn't how our love manifested/ spoke it about to my mans and he atested/ but I had met my queen and indeed was truely blessed/ love an unruly weapon/ she swung with such precision and into my soul she made the deepest incision/out leaked rivers of love that were deep enough to swim in/and they glistened like sunshine off of the brightest prism/ and this was just the beginning/ at her feet I began to pray disregarding all religion/ Imprisoned in her heart/ a cell of 6 by 4 inches/ I pumped my love like blood into the rest of her body.

Rush hour

You're older a lot more longer than you are younger. I just realized today we (young people) spend more time rushing things than just letting them happen. When we were 6 everything was just care-free, and then we turned ten...and when that happened we wished we were older so that we could stay out later, party and do all of the things we saw all of our older family members do because it seemed so fun. Not realizing we were at the age when the most fun happened. Then you hit 16, you're wishing those two years would hurry the hell up because you're just dying to be able to say "im legal". You can club, people look at you as a responsible adult (somewhat) and you have all the freedom in the world. Now you're 18 and you wish you could be 21 because that's the "it" age. You party, move out on your own, of course you can get into the clubs with no problem.. Buy a bottle of liquor? who's stopping you. But here's the catch...the bills come! you settle into your adult life, and ten years from then its all an uphill battle. Of course seeing life as you grow older is beautiful but you don't remember as much when you're speeding through it. You notice how most older people either have all the patience in the world or none at all?...The one's who aren't rushing anything understand that life is all to short of an experience to fast forward. They see rushing into anything is not going to make the outcome any better or come any quicker. They probably use to be speeders on the highway of life...and after a few tickets or so they wisened up and decided to cherish what they have, be patient, and allow time to do what it does best when you wait...surprise you. If you're in a relationship don't give up on it because things are looking down at the moment..it happens, especially when you rush into things a little too soon. What you can do is take it day by day...the results will be what they will..not what you will them to be. Patience can solve even the biggest problem..don't look at the clock because those hands are going to move regardless of what you do..you have no control.. so wait, and when it's time for it to happen..it will happen
